Letter: Capitol pools project too ambitious and too costly

The state Capitol’s pools renovation is a bad story getting worse. First and foremost the premise that we needed to have “walkable” glass panels strong enough for crowds of people to walk on is challenging at best. Why don’t we just waterproof the area and paint it a nice ocean blue? It wouldn’t cost the taxpayers of this state over $57 million.
