Letter: Cold-blooded reptiles make warm friends

I’m a scout working on my Communication Merit Badge. I am writing in about the inequalities between states. Specifically, people in Hawaii cannot own reptiles, but people on the mainland can freely own reptiles. Reptile ownership provides several benefits such as improving mental health. And some people can’t afford a dog or a cat, but they can afford a reptile. Reptiles do not cost as much, and they’re typically smaller.
