Letter: Feral cat control strategy doesn’t go far enough

The Aug. 26 letter, “Lethal strategies won’t solve feral cat problem,” gives good reasons for feeding animals with population management, but I see that it does not address the underlying issue of feral cats killing endangered native wildlife for food. It also fails to mention feral cats’ impact on endangered monk seals, which are highly vulnerable to toxoplasmosis.
