Letter: Hawaii student protesters draw praise as patriots

In a recent letter, a writer stated, “I am appalled to hear that many Kalaheo High School students protested against Immigration and Customs Enforcement. It shows that the younger generation does not respect authority” (“Student protest of ICE reflects poorly on DOE,” Star-Advertiser, Feb. 18).
