I am surprised that liquefied natural gas is still an option for electricity generation in Hawaii. Twenty percent of the world’s supply of LNG and crude is blockaded in the Strait of Hormuz. That means the world demand and the cost of LNG and other oil products are going up in price worldwide. Living in Hawaii does not protect us from petroleum emergencies around the world.
