Letter: Isle shows respect by obeying fireworks law

I have never been so proud of my fellow residents of Oahu as I was Friday night. Why? It was the quietest Fourth of July since we moved here almost 22 years ago. All you could see or hear across the island were the sights and sounds of professional fireworks.
