Letter: Navy must settle lawsuit over Red Hill debacle

The Navy continues to waste taxpayer money. First, it did not properly maintain the huge Red Hill fuel tanks, causing leaks and finally a major spill that contaminated both military and public drinking water sources. Taxpayers had to pay millions of dollars to remediate the tanks and clean up the water. The Navy has already admitted fault due to negligence.
