Letter: President must support all states, red and blue

This is in response to the April 3 letter, “No surprise if Trump’s FEMA doesn’t aid isles.” Sadly, there are millions of Americans who accept or even condone President Donald Trump’s pettiness and vengefulness toward his adversaries and harsh critics of his leadership. However, our nation’s former presidents, regardless of their political agenda, have almost always approved state requests for FEMA funding for states devastated by natural disasters, such as hurricanes, flash flooding, etc. It is only this president, who has such a weak and narcissistic mentality, that has denied FEMA requests from Democrat-led states hit by disasters.
