Letter: Republicans asking too much with SAVE Act

There is no denying that the SAVE America Act, which requires documentary proof of citizenship when registering to vote, would lend credence to the security and legitimacy of the electoral system. Unfortunately, implementing this bill in its totality could actually disenfranchise millions of eligible voters, disproportionately affecting vulnerable groups.
