Letter: State plays too fast and loose with new stadium

The Stadium Authority’s executive director revealed a key problem during a legislative hearing on a bill that would allow digital advertising screens in the New Aloha Stadium Entertainment District (NASED) and Waikiki (“Digital signs sought for stadium zone,” Star-Advertiser, March 5). He described the bill as a “vital step in ensuring the long-term financial viability and vibrancy” of NASED.
