It was a non-stop lightning show on Oahu. If you’re on the relatively dry leeward side of the Koolau mountains you watched in awe all night long.
If you’re on the Windward side it was drenched. A Brown Water Advisory is being issued for the island of Oahu from Waikane to Waimea Bay to Haleiwa because of the conditions from earlier heavy rains. The public is advised to stay out of flood waters and storm water runoff due to possible overflowing cesspools, sewer manholes, pesticides, animal fecal matter, dead animals, pathogens, chemicals, and associated flood debris. If coastal waters are turbid and brown, stay out.
