The owner of a local car dealership was sentenced on charges of tax violations.
Rong Zhang is the owner of Excellent Auto Center, Inc. and Excellent Motor Group, Inc.
Zhang is accused of failing to file corporate income tax returns and general excise tax returns for Excellent Auto Center, Inc. from 2003 through 2006.
Zhang is also accused of failing to file corporate income tax returns and general excise tax returns for Excellent Motor Group, Inc. for 2006.
Zhang and his companies entered pleas of guilty and requested a deferral of their guilty pleas.
The judge granted Zhang’s request for a deferral for a period of one year.
But the judge denied his request for a deferred acceptance of his guilty plea and sentenced him to one year probation.
