A local musician made a major statement when he performed at the dinner for APEC delegates Saturday night.
Slack-key guitarist Makana not only wore a shirt saying "Occupy with Aloha" while he performed, he also sang a song supporting the Occupy movement.
He posted the video on youtube.
The singer says he was afraid at first to sing the song, but since no one seemed to mind, he continued to sing the ballad for a full 45 minutes, changing the beat each time.
