Every day for the next five weeks, I’ll be sharing with you the holiday wish list of someone in need. Someone you can help by bringing a gift to our drive on December 3.
Most Lokahi families and individuals barely earn enough to make ends meet. Some are facing extraordinary adversity ranging from health problems to plain hard luck.
We hope that you will consider helping. In these tough economic times, you’ll see how basic the requests are. Here are some examples:
A family of six is requesting laundry soap and toilet paper.
Another family only wishes for towels and bedding.
Another common request – canned goods, diapers and formula.
If you can help, stop by and see us Saturday, December 3 at one of our drives, 10a.m to 4 p.m. We’ll have great entertainment including some of your favorite local entertainers.
On Oahu, I will be at Ala Moana Center and Ron Mizutani will be at Windward Mall.
Justin and Andrew will be on Maui. On Hawaii island, Jai will be in Hilo and our good friend Penny Vredenburg will be at Waimea Center.
If you can’t make it on December 3, you can always make a monetary donation at all First Hawaiian Banks statewide.
