An Ewa Beach man was arrested after police say he strangled his wife and prevented her from calling police.
It happened on Sunday.
Police say the couple was arguing when the man struck his wife numerous times and began strangling her.
The man is accused of also preventing his wife from calling police.
The man left the scene but returned later and was arrested for felony abuse and interference with reporting an emergency.
