On Sunday, emergency responders were called to the Nuuanu Reservoir after a man apparently drowned.
Fire officials say it happened around 11:30 a.m.
Officials say, a group of people were swimming at the reservoir when a man in his 20s climbed the 60-foot tower and jumped into the water below.
Witnesses say he did not resurface and called 911.
Fire crews searched the water and found the man’s body.
He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
