A 38-year-old man is in police custody after allegedly punching a police officer in the face Saturday night.
According to police, the officer was responding to an argument call in the Waianae area. When he arrived at the scene of the argument, the suspect allegedly punched him in the side of the face.
Police say the suspect was then subdued and arrested.
The officer was not seriously injured.
