A 43-year-old man is facing theft charges after he was allegedly caught stealing shoes from the Waikele Sports Authority Saturday night.
According to police, a loss prevention officer in the store spotted the man allegedly concealing numerous pairs of shoes into a bag.
Police say the suspect then left the store without paying for the items. The suspect was later stopped by the loss prevention officer, who then alerted police.
The suspect was arrested. Charges are pending.
