Honolulu police say a man and a woman teamed up to shoplift from a retail store in the Ward area.
Police say the woman was seen putting merchandise in her bag, then handing it off to a man who was hiding among clothes.
That’s where he allegedly removed security sensors from the items, and gave it back to the woman.
But while she walked out, she was stopped by a security guard.
That’s when police say the man pushed the guard, and the woman got away.
The man was arrested for robbery.
