A Hawaii Island man is behind bars Monday night accused of setting his own home on fire.
Peter Lopes was arrested for arson, terroristic threatening, and assault.
Police say the fire at his house on Ohiki Street in Pahoa last night may have started during a domestic dispute.
Police say lopes was arguing with a woman, and had threatened to set the house on fire.
When firefighters arrived it was engulfed in flames.
The woman was not injured, and Lopes was arrested.
Total damage to the house is estimated at $180,000.
