A 45 year-old man remains in police custody awaiting attempted murder charges. Honolulu police say he stabbed a man several times.
Police were called to Kaumualii Street in Kalihi around 5 p.m. Friday.
Officials say the victim, a 35 year-old man managed to walk around the corner to a neighbors home and called for help.
He was taken to an area hospital in serious condition and later improved.
Police searched the area and found the suspect hiding in a nearby yard.
The suspect was later arrested. No word on what the motive was.
