A 35-year-old man is recovering in the hospital after an industrial accident in Sand Island Wednesday morning.
It happened around 7:15 a.m.
Emergency crews responded to a report of an injured person.
When crews arrived to the scene, the man was pinned underneath a scissor lift and they had to pull him out.
Officials say the man was responsive.
He was taken to a trauma center in serious condition.
