41-year-old Roberto Raymundo Smith was taken into custody last Wednesday after police say he attacked a Pac-Five football coach with a knife.
Paul Brown, who also works as a restraint instructor for the detention home, managed to deflect the attack and hold Raymundo Smith until police arrived.
