Man to serve time for $2.5 million Hawaii bank investment scheme

A 44-year old California man was sentenced to more than five and a half years in federal prison on Monday, four years after his arrest for making up a name and accent as part of a conspiracy to steal more than $2.5 million from more than 15 victims who believed they invested in a Swiss bank and other opportunities.
