Man who appealed conviction in fatal stabbing to get new trial

Scott David DeAngelo, who jumped from the window of a burning fourth-floor Pearl City apartment after fatally stabbing his 33-year-old roommate in the neck, then fleeing in the roommate’s car, was convicted by a jury on April 12, 2024, of murder and arson.
