A police officer was flagged down because a man who was sleeping in a car was blocking traffic.
It happened just after 6:30 a.m. The officer woke the man up and ordered him to turn off his vehicle. The man sped away. The vehicle was found nearby and the suspect was pointed out by witnesses. A firearm and ammunition that had been thrown away were found in the area and through investigation, the suspect was arrested.
