March 19 marks the 10th anniversary of the start of the Iraq war.
It was on this date, the US went into the country with the goal of ridding it of weapons of mass destruction and to replace Saddam Hussein with a peaceful pro-Western democracy.
The last US troops left Iraq in 2011.
The conflict left more than 4,400 Americans dead and many lessons to be learned.
"I think it’s also important to look at how we are dealing with the modern threats. The lessons that we learned and how to deal with a terroristic threat that knows no allegiance to a specific flag or country," said Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard.
