Saint Louis graduate and Oregon redshirt-freshman quarterback Marcus Mariota has received the Manning Player of the Week Award.
The Honolulu native had only 3 incompletions on 24 attempts last week at USC, totaling 304 yards and 4 touchdowns through the air, while adding 96 yards on the ground.
The 2010 HHSAA state champion recieved the second-most amount of votes in the history of the award, which was created by the Allstate Sugar Bowl to select a quarterback as a player of the year, along with selecting a star of each week of the college football season.
Mariota and his third-ranked Ducks will travel to Berkley, CA to face Cal on Saturday at 5:30 HST.
