The inaugural Hawaii Symphony pops season was announced today.
It features some of Hawaii’s favorite entertainers.
Raiatea Helm will join Henry Kapono and Na Leo for the first concert of the series next week Wednesday at the Blaisdell Concert hall.
Matt Catingub, who founded the Honolulu Symphony’s pops series in 1998, returns as maestro.
"I just want to say from the bottom of my heart I’m so thrilled to have the opportunity to come back and pick up where we left off," says Matt Catingub, Maestro.
Mary Wilson of the Supremes performs with the symphony April 26th.
Kenny Loggins will be at the Waikiki Shell on June 10th.
