Mechanical failure causes Kihei wastewater overflow

The County of Maui’s Department of Environmental Management reported that a wastewater overflow of approximately 1,900 gallons occurred on near the intersection of South Kihei Road and Waimahaihai Street in Kihei due to mechanical failure early Thursday.
