Some of the Medal of Honor recipients here for a convention paid a visit to local schools on Thursday.
They spoke to students at Mid-Pacific Institute on various topics from their experiences in war to the meaning of a person’s character.
This is just one of the many events the recipients are participating in this week.
On Friday, the Medal of Honor recipients will be honored in a block party in downtown Honolulu. That event starts at 6 p.m.
