Mexico’s president cancels APEC trip after crash kills Interior Minister

A helicopter crash has claimed the life of Mexico’s second-ranking official, and seven others.
Interior Minister Francisco Blake Mora was a key figure in Mexico’s battle with drug cartels.
He was traveling to a prosecutors meeting when the helicopter went down in a mountainous area southeast of Mexico City.
Officials say it appears foggy conditions may have been a factor in the crash.
Mexico’s president who had planned on coming to Hawaii for APEC cancelled his plans because of the tragedy.
