Over on Maui a tourist almost drowned today.
Officials say the 45-year old woman had been snorkeling in front of the Sheraton Maui resort in Kaanapali.
Around 1:30 Sunday afternoon other snorklers found her unresponsive, brought her to shore, and hotel employees performed CPR until paramedics arrived. The woman was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
