The new owner of Aloha Tower Marketplace has some big ideas to transform the site and attract local residents.
Hawaii Lifestyle retail properties is working out a $20 million renovation plan to revitalize the area into a community hub.
Ideas being considered include a theater, bowling alley, and possibly residential lofts and apartments, along with restaurants and shops.
Hawaii Pacific University says they are interested in the idea of housing students on the property.
But, the developer says it will be another three months until they announce their final plans for the property.
