Off the news: Kolekole Pass access works as planned

A month after a March 5 agreement between the Army, Navy, state and city to open transit through the Kolekole Pass during emergencies, officials opened the road from 5 to 9 a.m. on Monday, offering Waianae Coast residents an alternative emergency route after a major water main break partially closed Farrington Highway.
