Pray for rain — that could well be the new, collective mantra of Hawaii government workers and public school students alike. Today, all state offices, University of Hawaii campuses, and public and charter schools on Oahu, Kauai and Maui will be closed, as a strong storm system and high winds are predicted to pound the state.
