Yuck, yuck and muck. After recent torrential rains, most shorelines throughout Hawaii have turned brown. Not only is the water unsightly, it’s loaded with contamination, from pathogens and pollutants. Think runoff and overflow from sewage systems, such as cesspools or septic tanks, and animal feces.
