Old costumes, free Easter egg hunt at Iolani Palace

Iolani Palace is taking families back in time.

The public can view old costumes worn by children who attended a fancy dress ball hosted by Queen Liliuokalani in 1892.

Some of these costumes have never been seen by the public.

The collection includes pieces like a pink satin tailcoat and a red velvet and lace ensemble.

The palace’s royal egg hunt starts at 10 a.m. Saturday and is free.

The palace tours start at noon.

Call 522-0822 or www.iolanipalace.org for more information.
