Old telephone books wanted for recycling

New Hawaiian Tel phone books are being delivered across Oahu, which means it’s time to toss out last year’s books.

Four recycling sites will be open throughout this weekend.
At Ward Warehouse, Mililani Town Center, Kahala Mall and Windward Shopping Center.
Organizers are challenging other businesses to get involved.

"If any of you companies out there want to help out and do your part if you got enough room for a little roll off can nice and yellow give us a shout and we’d be more than happy to get one out there and help the community," said Douglas Esteban of West Oahu Aggregate.

Volunteers from the Lokahi Giving Project are staffing the drop off locations, which are open from 10 o’clock in the morning until 4 o’clock in the afternoon.
