The Pali Highway will close Saturday night in the Kailua-bound direction between Waokanaka Street and Kamehameha Highway at Castle Junction.
The roads will close at 7 p.m. Saturday and will reopen at 7 a.m. Sunday.
The state Department of Transportation says crews will perform tunnel cleaning and maintenance work.
Motorists are advised to take the Likelike Highway and H-3 Freeway instead, and allow for extra travel time.
