Panel picks finalist to direct rail board

Daniel Grabauskas, who stepped down as general manager of the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority in 2009 amid political turmoil, was named as the finalist Friday to lead the Hono­lulu Authority for Rapid Transportation as its chief executive officer.
