PBS fire more costly than estimated, delays local programs

Officials at PBS Hawaii say the damaged caused by Friday’s fire is much more severe than previously thought.
The studio where the fire occurred will be inoperable for about a month while repair and restoration work is completed.
This week PBS is airing repeat programs of "Long Story Short" and "Leahey and Leahey."
"Insights" is on hiatus.
Production of those programs will resume next week in the building’s Studio B.
PBS says the cost of damage will be "substantially" higher than the fire departments estimate of $250,000.
