Honolulu police are investigating a pedestrian accident that critically injured a 24 year old woman.
It happened Kapiolani Boulevard near Ward Avenue just before 8 o’clock Wednesday night.
"A female was struck by a male who was in his 70′s going westbound on Kapiolani. The female was taken to the Queens Medical Center in Extremely critical condition," said Lt. Robert Towne with the Honolulu Police Department.
Police say the woman was not in a crosswalk.
All westbound lanes on Kapiolani Boulevard between Ward and Kamakee Street were closed for approximately 2 hours while police investigated.
