Pets blessed at Saint Andrew’s Priory

Animals of all sizes received a special blessing at Saint Andrew’s Priory on Tuesday.

It’s a tradition that goes back two decades.
Cats, dogs, hamsters, and even fish were blessed by Anglican priests.

Priests also blessed the photos of beloved pets who died in the past year.

The blessing is always held the week of the feast of Saint Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals.
