Honolulu police will give a final salute to a fallen officer Wednesday morning.
Officers will line up along the Beretaina Street sidewalk about 9 o’clock for a pass and review.
They will pay their final respects as a motorcade for Officer Eric Fontes makes its way past the main police headquarters.
Traffic on Beretania will come to a stop during the salute.
Fontes will be laid to rest on Molokai on Saturday.
He died after a crash at a traffic stop in Honokai Hale last month.
