The incident happened late Saturday night and damaged three windows at the K-1 Neighborhood.
No injuries were reported.
Punahou School issued the following statement on Monday:
"Currently, there is no reason to believe that the incident was anything other than a random act of vandalism. The school has increased and repositioned its security presence. We will continue to work with HPD and take their advice regarding any outcomes of the investigation. In the meantime, this matter concerns the overall safety of the community, and we ask that anyone with information relating to the incident call HPD immediately."
School parents and faculty were notified of the incident Monday morning.
No arrests have been made at this time.
