Honolulu police are looking for a man wanted for first-degree robbery and first-degree attempted sexual assault.
The incident happened at about 1:45 a.m. Thursday. Police say the victim was on the beach in Waikiki when she was shoved into the sand and held down by an unknown male.
Officials say the male then removed items from her pocket and attempted to remove her clothing.
The female struggled, yelled for help, and was assisted by two men in the area.
The suspect then fled on foot in an unknown direction.
