Police searching for missing Waipahu man

Honolulu police need your help in finding a Waipahu man who hasn’t been seen or heard from in more than a week. 

His name is Alan John Arruda.

He was last seen leaving his Waipahu home on Mother’s Day night.

Police say Arruda took his wallet but left his cell phone behind.

“He suffers from emotional distress and his family is very concerned.  He does care for his elderly father who is 89 years old.  He is the primary caretaker. And again he walked out and has not been seen, and leaving his father which is very unlike him,” said Sgt. Kim Buffett.

Alan John Arruda is 63-years-old, 6’0” and 205 pounds.
