Popular ukulele recording artist pleads no contest to DUI

Popular ukulele recording artist Taimane Gardner plead no contest Wednesday to charges of driving under the influence.

She was arrested on June 26 in Waikiki.

Gardner pleaded no contest to the DUI charge and told the judge, "I’m very sorry, and have learned my lesson."

Gardner must pay a $400 fine and will have her license revoked for a year.
