A possible unexploded ordnance was found on the beach off of Kahuku Golf Couse Saturday.
Honolulu firefighters got the call around 9:40 a.m. Officials say volunteers cleaning the beach found the metal object in the bushes.
The beach area where the object was found has been cleared. The military and police have been called out and are investigating.
